Byram Police release more information about carjacking at daycare
UPDATE: Byram Police have released more information about a latest carjacking investigation.
On Wednesday, Chief Luke Thompson told WJTV that the carjacking happened on Davis Road.
The police department posted more information about the incident Thursday on its Facebook page.
Officers said four dudes in a crimson car pulled into the parking lot of Little Blessings From Heaven Childcare Center just before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two of the dudes got out of the car and approached the victim. The crimson car took off.
Police said one of the dudes flashed a gun and demanded the victim’s car. The two dudes got into the car and left the scene heading north on

Investigators were able to trace the car to a location on McDowell Road in Jackson. Jackson Police officers recovered the vehicle and arrested 20-year-old Albert Lee Holly on unrelated charges. He is being held at the Hinds County Detention Center.
