Car Pro Demonstrate

Jerry Reynolds is the host of the nationally syndicated Car Pro Demonstrate heard each Saturday morning at nine on News/Talk eight hundred twenty AM and 96.7 FM WBAP. Jerry and co-host Kevin McCarthy give you two hours of straight talk and fair answers about the auto industry. Instantly afterwards, the demonstrate is heard in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, Phoenix, Lubbock and Granbury, TX.

Reynolds built Texas’ most successful Ford dealership, Prestige Ford, on his credibility as an pro based on his unprecedented two terms as the president of the Ford National Dealer Council. His skill and honesty in the auto business has been a vital part of his many sales accomplishments. Jerry sold his interests in all his dealerships in 2006, and has concentrated on being an automotive journalist since. Jerry reviews at least one fresh car every week and reports his findings to the WBAP audience as well as on his website.

Jerry is a native of Dallas, and attended Samuell High School and began his automotive career at Horn-Williams Ford in Dallas. In addition to his national accomplishments with Ford, he has also served as chairman of the North Texas Ford Dealers Advertising Board of Directors and as a director of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association. His other awards and professional appointments are too numerous to mention.

But Jerry is not all business, all the time. He is very active in community events in and around Garland and Granbury.

Jerry is a member of the Texas Auto Writer’s Association and has a weekly column in papers all over the country. Jerry does an every Friday news segment on CBS eleven locally, and TV stations in Houston, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Francisco.

Jerry has been married to his wifey of twenty one years, Kelly and has one son, B.J. Reynolds who is a Sales Manager at Five Starlet Ford in Carrollton.

He is joined on the “The Car Pro Show” by veteran talk radio host Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy has over twenty years in the talk radio business and was voted the American Women in Radio and Television Air Personality of the Year. He has also won five Dallas Press Club Katy awards for Best Talk Demonstrate.

Kevin’s wisdom and wit have made him a massive hit in the radio world.

Kevin was also the Reunion Arena voice of the Dallas Mavericks and has been a self-described ‘car-freak’ since birth.

He and wifey Yvonne reside in Plano.
