From my last practice in India, back in Nov two thousand fourteen for less than two weeks, and going down the memory lane before I immigrated, I would say Indians are very suicidal when it comes to driving. How can one explain vehicles driving towards you on the opposite lane when there is no where else to go? How can one justify so many millions driving in high slat on a busy road, with vehciles coming in the oppsite direction? How can one justify a driver of a car/Two wheeler/ lorry keep driving towards another vehcile, stationery, moving, when all the human insitncts will say that it is a sure death. Roads in some places are not fine, but the main problem is the DNA. How do you justify vast majority driving more thirty miles an hour in a built up area with thousands of residnets, houses, schools, homes? How do you justify morons driving at total clip watching there are humans crossing the road? I have seen it all, it is not worth taking this risk living in most of India. I want to retire in India, but in a place, that has no motor vehicles, has slew of fresh air, less human population more animals, not hot, not humid, no mosquitoes. Now, I can shoot myself!!

I do not agree that all road accidents are due to buzzed drivers etc. A latest report and all the major points mentioned in the report said that in Andhra Pradesh (both AP and Telengana), majority of the accidents are due to poor infrastructure. We cannot call our roads as roads till the point we use it for the purpose it is built.

Road safety experts also warn that the real numbers of fatalities could be much higher since many cases are not even reported. There is no estimate as to how many people injured in road accidents die a few hours or days after the accident. And their deaths are then no longer linked to road traffic accidents.

Decent education about. Road safety, driving missing in india. Penalty for violating

Driving rules is not sever.

Feeling bad about this…,

thank u for showcasing the information

I am twenty five year old man & driving two wheeler since last five year in Delhi , as per my observation most of the road accident in which someone meet to death is mostly because of the rush driving & ignoraning of traffic rules especially by our youth who hardly care about the traffic laws & also not about the life of others as well as their own .

Many of the youngster drive without safety (helmets) and attempting to hop redlight for no reason just to rech someplace without having in hurry.

Even in city like Delhi their are so much awareness programms goes on regular basis & the traffic police also take care of everything so well but still there are is no. Of bunch of fools who never going to learn untill & unless they get to meet some life menacing injuries or goes behind the bar(Jail) .

Accidents happen in a spur of moment .”Most of the accidents

happen due to wrong judgment while overtaking.

“Overtaking” is a cherry phenomenon & will proceed occurring

eternally whether in single or bi-directional movements on roads.

In latest past “Use of flasher indicators” has decisively helped in reducing road accidents as they caution & indicate switch in the status of direction of moving vehicles.

The need of hour is to announce the exact status of the vehicle in

movement &also proclaim the “immediate next deeds to be happening” irrespective of driver’s desire.

That’s where the “ACCI-PREVENT SYSTEM” comes into picture devised solely by ARUN BANDI author of this article. The system is so conceived &designed so as to give prior intimation to co-drivers such as braking, unexpected reduction of speed & unexpected acceleration. The system so incorporated in the vehicle exhibit the intentions of driver, &such an intimation comes as an involuntary act from the vehicle itself &not from the driver.

The system can be compared with the involuntary muscular system of the human figure, which control the functioning of vital organs of human figure &which are fundamental for survival.

Similar treatment is taken with this system. Irrespective of driver’s desire the system indicates switching speed ranges , idling, deceleration & and forward acceleration.

All the indications are conventional combinations SYNONIMOUS of STOP, LOOK & GO, the basic traffic lighting system &hence no chance of mistakes.

The salient features of this system are :

Ö- Accidents of overtaking in unidirectional as well as

bi-directional movement will be minimal.

Ö- Since it is irrespective of driver’s desire the co-drivers can

safeguard themselves by knowing the status declaration of the moving vehicle permanently & can take suitable deeds.

Ö- Due to constant indication of motional status of vehicle it will

help regulating ongoing traffic & reduce pollution.

ö- Traffic in fresh words ,will have “TOTAL TRANSPERANCY” as everybody’s movement intentions are known to everybody.

ö-By any evaluations this will be an innovative value addition to an existing safety standard of vehicle.

Working model (PROTOTYPE) of this system is available for display and demonstration with author.
