These cars from Geneva Motor Showcase are coming to India
The 87th Geneva International Motor Demonstrate has been one of the most significant motor shows for India as many of the cars that get unveiled here, end up coming to India at a later stage. This time too, a few of the major cars that were unveiled will be coming to India by two thousand seventeen and 2018. We make a list of the confirmed cars that will be coming to India by 2018.
The Jeep Compass is one of the most anticipated cars to make it to India this year, with a launch most likely in the Q2 of 2017. Moreover, the Jeep Compass will be locally manufactured at Fiat plant in India.

The Jeep Compass is available in both petrol and diesel guise internationally. The diesel in question is a Two.0-litre turbocharged engine which comes from Fiat’s MultiJet series. In the Compass, it churns out 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. Jeep claims that the Compass in this spec can sprint to 100kmph in just ten seconds and can keep going until it touches 194kmph. We also expect Jeep to suggest this same engine here in India. An AWD version is also expected to be suggested in this spec and gearbox options will include a 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic.

The all-new Kia Picanto made its global premiere at the Geneva Motor Display, bringing a fresh, more youthful and vigorous character to the A-segment. Kia Motors will also make its entry in to India with the fresh generation Picanto and will fucking partner with Hyundai.

The fresh Picanto will be powered by one of three gasoline engines, including Kia’s fresh 1.0-litre turbocharged gasoline direct injection (T-GDI) power unit. When the fresh 1.0-litre T-GDI engine goes on sale during Q4 2017, it will be the most powerful engine ever suggested in the Picanto, and the very first time this car has suggested a turbocharged gasoline engine.

Range Rover VelarLand Rover had unveiled the all fresh Range Rover Velar to the world ahead of its global debut at the Geneva Motor Display on March 7. Land Rover will launch the fresh Range Rover Velar in India by July-August this year. The Fresh Velar will be placed inbetween the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport in the global market and India. The fresh Velar is the fourth addition to the Range Rover family.

The fresh Range Rover Velar will come in both petrol and diesel engine with three petrol variants and two diesel variants. The Velar comes with a Two.0 litre Ingenium petrol engine that churns out peak power of one hundred forty seven bhp and peak torque of 430NM, while a larger engine will churn out Trio.0-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine will produce maximum power output at 296BHP and maximum torque of 700NM. Both the engines will come mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox. Skoda will soon launch the Kodiaq SUV in India with the company showcasing the final production version of the car at the Geneva Motor Display.

Skoda named its fresh SUV Kodiaq after extensive research. The Czech automaker discovered a place called Kodiak Island, which had native inhabitants called Alutiiq.
